Inverity

Signed provenance, sealed at capture.

Attest attaches a signed C2PA Content Credential to your images, so origin and edit history travel with the file and can be verified anywhere. When metadata gets stripped and images get scraped, Attest is the proof of what is yours and where it came from.

Anyone can copy an image. Almost no one can prove where it came from.

Metadata is the first thing stripped on upload, and a screenshot erases every rights field you ever set. In an age of AI training and endless redistribution, “this is mine” is a claim without proof, and a claim without proof does not hold up in a licensing conversation or a takedown.

What you need is a record of origin that is signed, tamper-evident, and survives the trip through other people’s systems. Not a badge someone has to take on faith, but a credential anyone can verify.

Sign once. The proof travels with the image.

Attest runs on the same connector layer as the Neural Media Orchestrator. As assets flow through your pipeline, Attest attaches a signed C2PA Content Credential that records origin and edit history. The credential travels with the asset and can be verified by any C2PA-aware tool downstream, with no dependence on trusting Inverity.

Attest is one layer of the Provenance suite. Aegis carries your do-not-train signal, Attest proves the origin, and Signet proves ownership with a forensic watermark that survives redistribution. Declare consent, prove origin, prove ownership.

Provenance you can prove, not just assert

C2PA Content Credentials

Built on the open content-authenticity standard, so the credential is verifiable by any C2PA-aware tool, not a proprietary badge locked to one vendor.

Signed, not just written

The credential is cryptographically signed, so it can be trusted rather than merely read. Verification checks the signature, not our word.

Tamper-evident

Any alteration to the asset or its record is detectable. If something changed after signing, the credential shows it.

Origin and edit history

A verifiable trail of where the image came from and what changed along the way, carried with the file.

Works across your connectors

Apply credentials as assets move through your DAM, CMS, or store, on the same connector layer the orchestrator already uses.

Part of the Provenance suite

Stacks with Aegis (do-not-train signal) and Signet (forensic watermark) for consent, provenance, and ownership in one line.

By the standards

  • C2PA Content Credentials, the open content-authenticity standard
  • Signed and tamper-evident, verifiable by any C2PA-aware tool
  • Interoperates with IPTC rights metadata and the Aegis do-not-train signal

Proof you can verify, not a badge you have to trust

A credential is only worth what its signature guarantees. Attest’s credentials are signed and tamper-evident, so verification does not rest on trusting Inverity, it rests on checking the signature.

That is the same discipline behind everything we build: verify, do not ask to be believed.

Questions worth answering straight.

What is a C2PA Content Credential?

It is a signed, tamper-evident record attached to a media file under the open C2PA standard. It carries origin and edit history and can be verified by any C2PA-aware tool, so it is a proof anyone can check, not a badge you have to trust.

Does the credential survive editing?

Edits are recorded, and tampering is detectable. If a downstream tool strips the credential entirely, that is exactly why Attest pairs with Signet, the forensic watermark, which lives in the pixels and survives redistribution.

Is this the same as a watermark?

No. Attest is a signed record of provenance that travels alongside the file. Signet is an imperceptible mark inside the pixels that proves ownership after redistribution. They solve different problems and work best together.

Which platforms support it?

Attest applies credentials through the Inverity connectors. Tell us your stack, a DAM, a CMS, or a store, and we will confirm the exact path for your setup.

Do I need Aegis and Signet as well?

They cover different risks. Aegis declares your do-not-train preference, Attest proves origin, and Signet proves ownership. Together they are the Provenance suite; each also stands on its own.
