Hand over the assets, keep the control
Every client and partner works from a scoped view of the library rather than from a copy of it. You see what they used and where it went, and lapsed rights stop circulating without anyone chasing them.
Distribution is where control usually goes. You send an archive, and from that moment the assets live somewhere you cannot see: on a laptop, in a partner CMS, in a deck that gets forwarded twice. Nobody knows which version is current, and nobody finds out a license lapsed until after it has been published.
Inverity replaces the handoff with access. Partners work from the library, scoped to exactly what you shared. That one change means the current version is the only version they can reach, usage is visible rather than inferred, and an asset whose rights window has closed gets flagged instead of quietly redistributed.
What that looks like in practice
Partner Access
Each client, agency, franchisee, or retail partner gets a scoped view containing what you shared and nothing else. Adding a partner does not mean duplicating a library or maintaining a parallel folder structure for them.
Collections
Package a delivery as a collection and hand over a link rather than an archive. When the contents change the link keeps working, and the recipient sees the update instead of holding a stale copy.
Design Portal
A working surface for briefs, references, and creative delivery, so review happens against the assets themselves rather than in an email chain nobody can reconstruct later.
Usage Analytics
See which partners pulled which assets and where they were published. Renewal and rights conversations start from a record of what was actually used rather than an estimate.
Rights and expiry
License windows, territories, and talent releases are tracked against the asset. The governance agent watches them continuously and flags what has lapsed, not only when somebody thinks to check.
Scoped permissions
Access reaches down to a collection or a single asset, so a partner brought in for one campaign never gets a view of everything else you have produced.
How it works
From brief to delivered, without an archive
Set the partner up once
Create a scoped space for the client or partner. They reach the collections you choose and have no visibility into the rest of the library, including what else exists.
Work in the open
Briefs, references, and drafts live in the Design Portal, so feedback attaches to the work itself rather than scattering across email and chat where it cannot be found again.
Let the agents check as you go
Compliance and rights are evaluated while the work is being made and again on every revision, so problems surface during production rather than at delivery when they are expensive.
Deliver a link, not a file
Hand over a collection. The recipient always resolves to the current approved version, and you never re-send anything because something changed after the handoff.
See what actually got used
Usage reporting shows which assets travelled to which partner and where they were published, so the next engagement starts from evidence rather than assumption.
Let expiry look after itself
When a license window closes the governance agent flags the asset, rather than leaving it in circulation until somebody happens to notice.
Questions agencies and partners ask
Can each client have their own space?
Yes. Access is scoped per partner, and each one sees only the collections you shared. They cannot browse the rest of the library or infer what else is in it.
What stops a partner using an old file they already downloaded?
Nothing prevents a file that already left from existing, and any vendor claiming otherwise is overstating it. What changes is that the current version is always the easiest one to reach, that usage is recorded, and that rights status lives on the asset rather than in a memory of the contract.
What happens when a license expires?
The governance agent watches license windows continuously and flags assets whose rights have closed, rather than waiting for an audit. You see the flag before it becomes a conversation with a partner.
Our clients work in their own systems. Does that still work?
Yes. Assets can be pulled through the API or a connected platform, so a partner can work inside their own CMS while still resolving to the current approved version in your library.
Can we see what an agency actually used?
Usage analytics reports per partner, so you can see which assets were pulled and where they were published rather than waiting for a summary at the end of the engagement.
Do we have to move everything at once?
No. Assets can be imported in bulk through the API or a connected source, and existing metadata maps onto Inverity fields during import. Starting with one client or one campaign is a common way in.
Bring a live client handoff to the demo and we will set it up as a scoped collection.
